Graduation Day

Finally the great day is here. Tomorrow is the culmination of a five year journey. Mission Accomplished!
It looks like even the weather is happy about it because there is no rain forecast for the next few days. This is all the more important as my aunt is coming. Disliking wet weather runs in the family. :o)
I am looking forward to catch up with my classmates too. I wonder what they've been up to? Overall Friday is promising to be a nice day.

On the work from, still not luck - party I am to blame though 'cause I've been less than proactive. Yesterday I have made a cracking CV though, now that should work. - I was so disappointed on Tuesday because I got offered an interview than it was cancelled. I followed up of course to see what was going wrong. It turns out that my CV was to blame in a large way. (admittedly it was a crappy one) Plus that apparently I don't have enough experience for this apparently high profile film... I believe I do though. For one, I've been around film making since I was a teenager. Plus Stand By Art Direction is all about the attitude and aptitude anyways. It's down to the ability to focus for 16 hours straight and able to fix anything in a jiffy. If I could do it and do it well in one feature all the way through 4 weeks...

There is a reason for everything - usually. Perhaps I didn't get this opportunity because a better one is waiting in the wings? Optimism. yep! - There is this 'Underwater shooting" sound stage at Pinewood. Just imagine, combining my two great luvs. Diving and Film!

But until then I will repeat the mantra: I Will Get Film Work! :o)
