November Snow

It's only November but the streets are already covered in a white blanket. Outside my window the pines look like picture postcards. The transition from autumn to winter was instant. I walked home under the yellow umbrellas of Ginko trees then the next day I was leaving my footprints in snow. Sadly never got around to take photographs of the colourful foliage covered mountains.

November was a busy month. Great parties, many fun nights out. Seoul is great for living a shallow, shopping eating and drinking filled lifestyle. There is little else to do for a foreigner here, after the initial novelty of the palaces and temples wears off. Although beautiful as they are, they all look pretty much the same. Variety isn't the spice of life in Korea...chili is. Chili is the spice of everything. Well except sushi which I tend to live on these days, that and noodles.

Now it's time to look for jobs again. I am almost sure that I'll be staying in Korea for an other year. It's easy to save money here and things are going well in my private life too. See what happens...but if I get a good job, I'm staying. If not...don't even what to think about it. Can't face shared living, unemployment and endless job searching again. I miss my friends and miss London too but not the conditions.
